Video of HVAC 088 capillary tubes metering device in HVAC course by Love2HVAC with Ty Branaman channel, video No. 110 free certified online
The capillary tube is a fixed metering device. it restricts the flow of refregrant from a HP liquid to a Low Pressure saturated mixture.
It is also an expansion device as it allows refrigerant to expand on the other side.
It is sized based on the size of the tubing, length of the tubbing and the number of tubes used.
