You’re now entering a very practical part of Spanish—how to ask for directions and navigate in real life situations.
Even though we use maps and technology today, asking for directions is still extremely common, especially when traveling or in everyday situations.
In this lesson, you’re going to learn key expressions like:
Gira a la derecha (turn right)
Gira a la izquierda (turn left)
Sigue todo recto (go straight ahead)
Está cerca (it’s close)
Está lejos (it’s far)
En la rotonda (at the roundabout)
Cruzando la calle (crossing the street)
¿Dónde está…? (Where is…?)
These are essential survival phrases when moving around a city or asking locals for help.
Make sure you stay until the end and really understand how to follow and give directions in Spanish.
