I have customers thatI receive less payment than billed. They take out for discounts, booth rentals, from trade shows and co-op advertising.How do I apply those deductions?I know when you rec the payment to apply the discount but what about the rest of what they deducted.

You simply create a credit memo on the same customer. When going to select items, create a new item that is associated with an Expense account that is related. When done, apply that credit memo to that invoice and then receive the actual payment.
