StackOverflow is a commonly used website for developers, and a great use case or example to use for practicing database design.
In this video, we'll aim to design a database for a Q&A site based on StackOverflow's features.
We will:
- look at a few of the features of StackOverflow
- design our database for each of these features one by one
- arrive at a completed database diagram
- determine which features we left off and could be added in the future
If you want to practice your database design skills and learn about different scenarios, watch this video.
I've used a tool called LucidChart in this video for the diagram.
