Hello and welcome to this tutorial.
In this video I am going to demonstrate how to create a heart shaped logomark like the one you see here.
What I’ll be doing in this video, is taking a drawing of a logo Idea I designed previously in the design process and look at how I can develop and finalise it in Illustrator ready to present to the client.
If you are new to this course and want to see how I came up with this design be sure to check the links in the description to watch some of the previous videos and get access to the FREE course PDF index
If you’re continuing on with the course, welcome back!
In the previous video I demonstrated some techniques you can use to convert your sketches into vector artwork, using the image trace tool and the pen tool.
Now using the image trace tool may not be as sharp as you like and tracing using the pen can take a while, it can be fiddly and it may not always be the right approach.
In Illustrator there is another way we can save time.
Another option you could consider is to craft using strokes and shapes.
So in this video I am going to demonstrate how to take your sketches and scamps and turn them into vector artwork in Illustrator using strokes and shapes.
So let’s get into it!
